  • I was having a really lousy day (a lousy week to be honest) at work and personally too and my friends knew it at work.  So three of them came over to my cubicle at work and blew bubbles to cheer me up!   It’s nice to have friends.

It makes me look like I have dirty spots on my face from where the shadows of the bubbles are, but I assure you, I had showered before I came in to work that day.

Wednesday, the day I was having such a hard time, I’d had a number of computer issues with both the laptop I must use that has my AIM software on it and the system computer at the administrative offices as well.  Then I had been praying for a long-time friend and her family because her mom was about to lose the fight against cancer and got the call from my friend, in tears, that she was gone.  My (very pregnant) daughter also called to tell me she had gone to the doctor and was dialated 2 cm and could go into labor anytime.  That part was good news!  Still, it added a bit more anxiouseness to the already stressful day.

So this week is over and all I can say is ‘THANK GOD!’

Still no baby, but she’s trying EVERYthing to make it happen this weekend.  It would mean she’d be back home before her eldest, Kerstin, begins school on Tuesday and that was her goal.  So please pray that my baby girl, Candis, goes into labor today or tomorrow at the latest and has us a new little bundle of joy, OK?

Well, I hope to get around to some of your sites to say hello today and tomorrow.  Have a super weekend!
