Back, not sure it matters, but I guess later today I will post something. The story wasn’t the thing apparently so I might find some tidbits to make ya say, ‘hmmmm, I didn’t know that,’ or something to that effect.
Canada was fun but it was a fast, tiring trip this time. Back to work tomorrow, big UGH. I am hating the job, and the long drive more each day that I get up to go. I have a few resumes out and have to make a couple calls today but I need to begin working at getting a job nearer home as if THAT were my job, getting a job nearer home. Trouble is this, most better paying jobs are in Cincinnati or Dayton and the ones in our smaller town that pay well, are jobs where you must give blood, your firstborn child and know at least 98.7% of the people in the Personnel Office intimately, in order to get a stinking interview there. I hope as the new hospital is being built, much larger and in a new location, that I can at least get in to talk with someone. I have put in a resume there a number of times without even a call back.
Humorous thing about the hospital is this, my son, new to the work force and only making one attempt to be hired, has been a hospital employee now for more than a year. Of course, he has an entry level, non-administrative position, but still, he is there, foot in the door. I am glad, since as he has summer off from the university studies and more time available again, he can work full time. He really has been a conscientious employee. I’ve been proud of his work ethic since his first job he had at a local grocery store in Carlisle after school and weekends. He kept that first job for over 2 years and hardly missed any time, even sick. Then when he got the hospital job, he hadn’t yet started classes for college so he worked part time still at the store, and full time at the hospital for several months.
Well, this is enough for today I suppose. I think surfing the web for some inspiration for tomorrow’s post might be in order, after I pay bills. BIG UGH!
…guess I gotta KEEP the job I have for now, after looking at the bills, eh?

Hey, hey! Sorry the job is not working out.
Long commutes aren’t bad IF you are not the one doing the driving!
I hope you can find something decent that is closer to home (without meeting any of those conditions you mentioned!) I am praying for that! Have a great day because you are loved!
I understand your tiredness Deb because of those long drives early in the morning and back . I wish you had a job closer of your home . I don’ t remember what you did before going Columbia .
Encouragments and love

Job hunting is a job in itself. Good luck with it.
JOBS SUCK!!! I don’t care what anybody says.
I just want to play all the time and get paid for it. My neighbor told me that I was so lucky to be able to stay home with Jake the other day. Even though I agree I told him it would be alot easier if I could get paid to be a mom. Instead Im doing both. SO I feel for you on the job search. I pray that you get something closer to home. Those long drives just suck the lives out of a person. Anyways, God didn’t create our bodies to sit in a car for 2 hours to go to work. There is so much more to life. Don’t get me started on bills…(office space comes to mind
hugs
