Here is the poem. I love springtime.

Springtime renewal
Lovely are the budding trees
When springtime touches their branches
The flowers open to share with all
And know they are taking their chances
For any flower could open too soon
And the beautiful blooms be lost
Because the weather warms but then
Reappears old jack frost
Such are the matters of the heart, I feel
For like springtime, love touches the soul
And makes a heart open to share
What has been its alone to have and hold
The sweetness of the flower’s scent
Could never truly compare
To that of one heart touched By another
so exposed & willing to share
So as the blooms and the fragrances sweet
Are appealing to everyone’s senses
So is love in bloom when others look on
It causes their own fond reminisces
They remember the time they first fell in love
And even if gone awry, they recall
As another poet put it, ‘tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all
Let spring be a time you choose to fall
In deep love all over again
With the one who brings out the best in your soul
May they be your very best friend
Renew the feelings and stir the emotions
You once felt so often with your love
For all these good things we know
Are given from the One above
Let springtime be in your hearts today and everyday… it brings renewal
