  • This cracked me UP! heh heh

Gotten here as I was looking at nurses sites.  I was an LPN and really never worked in the field, …long story, but, I still find the nurse cartoons to be a riot.  Especially those about nurse students.  tee hee

Soooooo… how the heck is everyone?  I’ve had a serious lapse again where my writing is concerned.  Even the typing of my story is falling by the wayside.  So much so, that my son, (the one who pays little attention to what I say, much less what I might be doing) stopped me last evening and this conversation took place:

Son: “So, are you finished on the computer for the night?”

Mom: “Well, for now. I’m tired.”

Son: “But… if you do come back on it, whatcha gonna do?”

Mom: “Uhhh… (looking puzzled and trying to think if son asked mom to do anything for him lately that she forgot to do)

Son: “I mean, what have you NOT been doing lately when you have time on the computer?”

Mom: (still not sure what he means…) “well, uhhh, WHAT?  I don’t know.”

Son: “Geez Mom!  You havn’t been typing your story in… HOW LONG?  It’s been a week or more since you did it at all, hasn’t it?”

Mom: (in shocked amazement and somewhat impressed he was even aware of this fact) “Well I guess it has been a week.”

Son: “OK then, you need to come down here, sit your little butt in the chair and get this going.  Or are you not really serious about being a published author?”

Mom: (smiling in spite of his talking a bit down to her) “Yeah, I know.  I do need to do it.  OK, I’ll type later when you get finished.”

So, did I type?  NO! grrrr @ ME!  I got too comfy watching my show, season finale of Seventh Heaven, and never made it back down.  I got my clothes ready for the morning, brushed my teeth, painted my poor nails and went to bed by about 10:40ish.  Still, it was a ’warm fuzzy’ that my boy took note of my doings.

I hope you are all doing well.  I hope I type a lot the next couple days and I hope I get another ‘warm fuzzy’ sometime in ummm, the next 19 years or so! lol
